FarFinder native application for iPhone: Beta programme

Setting Up Your AirPort Base Station

So that Webjimbo can provide seamless access to your Mac from the internet, you need to enable your AirPort's NAT Port Mapping Protocol.

If you have another kind of router, you need UPnP enabled. It might well be on already - if you see a message in Webjimbo's main control panel window saying your router has been configured successfully, all is well. If it fails, you need to enable UPnP in your router's administration. Exact instructions will differ from one router to another and are not given here.

  1. Open the AirPort Utility by clicking the button in Webjimbo's setup assistant. (If you are not in the setup assistant, you can find the AirPort Utility in your Applications/Utilities folder.)
  2. Select your AirPort Base Station.
  3. Click on the "Manual Setup" button.

  4. Click on the "Internet" icon.
  5. Click on the NAT tab.
  6. Tick the "Enable NAT Port Mapping Protocol" checkbox.

  7. Click the "Update" button and quit the assistant. You're finished!
