Getting Started with FarFinder and Webjimbo
- You only need to install the application on the Mac you want to connect to. You can connect from
any computer without installing any software.
- Download either FarFinder or Webjimbo
- When installation is finished, the application will launch. You will see the main window, plus an introductory window with instructions. Follow the instructions.
- After setup, the Status section should say "Your Mac is accessible from the internet". You will see a link in the window; click it to try out the application.
- Remember this URL. When you're away from your Mac, use this URL to connect to your Mac from any computer on the internet - just enter it into any web browser.
- You can close the Settings window when you're ready.
- iPhone and iPad users: go to the App Store and download FarFinder - it's a free download.
- If you have a problem you can't solve with the help from the web site, use the application's Support section to get help.
FarSuite is the collective name for FarFinder, Webjimbo and any future remote access products
