FarFinder

iPhone OS 3: "Connection Failed" error

This error, which also mentions "untrusted server certificate", is affecting some users with jailbroken 3.0 phones. If you're getting this error, see this page for the solution.

What is it?

FarFinder lets you connect to your Mac from anywhere on the internet, with just a web browser. You can browse around your Mac's files, view and download documents and much more. You'll feel right at home, because it looks just like your Mac's Finder.

Even better, if you have an iPhone, you can access a FarFinder Mac from anywhere you have network coverage.

Use FarFinder to access your home Mac if you have broadband, and if your office network allows it, you can make your office Mac accessible too.

Why?

If you ever need to take files from one place to another, FarFinder is for you. Suddenly, all your files are available all the time - no worries about forgetting your USB key, or missing a file. With FarFinder, you don't even need to think about what to take.

Ever wanted to show someone something off your computer, say a photo, a document or even a video? FarFinder lets you be spontaneous - it's so easy, you'll start using it all the time.

Forgotten to send something to a client? No problem, use your iPhone or find a web browser, connect to your Mac and email them the file without even downloading it!

Got the iPhone App?

If you've installed FarFinder on your iPhone, now you need to download and install the Mac application.

Don't have an iPhone?
